Ltech develops Power Panel for Google Apps
LTech, a provider of cloud integration products, has released Power Panel for Google Apps, a new product designed to provide advanced management capabilities and enhanced provisioning and administration of Google Apps deployments.
The LTech Power Panel is hosted on a Google App Engine cloud platform, and solutions providers can install it directly into a company's Google Apps domain. The ability to directly install the product means that no additional server or software is needed to run Power Panel.
Customers must already run Google Apps Premier or Education Edition with administrator access and the Google App Engine SDK before they can deploy the Power Panel.
Hitachi chooses Nimsoft to manage cloud computing
Hitachi Software Engineering is using Nimsoft Monitoring Solution to monitor and manage its cloud computing infrastructure, SecureOnline.
The agentless deployment of Nimsoft Monitoring Solution allows Hitachi to monitor clients' applications and services running on its virtual machines. Nimsoft designed the product to monitor configuration, provide ongoing administration and give detailed reports on infrastructure performance. In turn, these capabilities can increase productivity and reduce administration costs.
