Red Hat and Hewlett-Packard develop new SOA platform
Red Hat's JBoss Enterprise SOA platform will now include Hewlett-Packard's SOA Systinet governance software.
Red Hat Inc. said the addition of Hewlett-Packard Co.'s software will help users experience better integration and business process automation, easier SOA deployment and the ability to quickly move information around the data center with fewer errors.
"Our collaboration with HP and its Systinet team offers a direct benefit to our SOA customers because now they will be able to deploy the two solutions together and know that they have a secure and trusted governance framework that enhances their ability to reap the full benefits of their SOA deployment," said Craig Muzilla, vice president of middleware at Red Hat.
Arrow Enterprise Consulting gets Novell nod
As a new Novell authorized training partner for North America, Arrow Enterprise Consulting Solutions is now holding training classes through its Alternative Technology group.
The classes began this month, focusing on Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise and ZENworks technologies. Arrow's Enterprise Consulting Solutions also offers vendor-authorized training for VMware, Fortinet, SonicWALL and Blue Coat.
Tech Data wins recognition at Cisco Partner Summit
Tech Data received awards for Worldwide Distributor of the Year and Services Innovator of the Year at the Cisco Partner Summit that took place in early June.
The company's worldwide distribution services division chose the award winners.
Some of the key efforts that Tech Data made to win the award included launching Cisco Services Renewals in Europe and a Cisco Solutions group in the United States, and further developing its Advanced Technology Solutions center in Canada.
