The entry-level bundle includes Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) Essentials, which was released in July, and has Dell’s PowerEdge T110 II that runs an Intel Xeon quad-core processor. Customers also get two OptiPlex or Vostro laptops. Also part of the bundle is Windows 7 Professional and Microsoft Office Home and Business as well as Intel's vPro management tool that lets solution providers manage customers’ PCs.
According to RCPMag.com, for a server with 4 GB of RAM, the bundle is priced at $1,701.
Cisco and Neutral Tandem to sell hosted collaboration service through the channel
Neutral Tandem, Inc. is teaming up with Cisco to offer a hosted collaboration service that will be sold by Cisco partners.
The service will include unified communication (UC) and collaboration applications, such as single number reach, integrated messaging and presence, video calling and WebEx integration. According to MarketWatch.com, Partners will sell it to customers on a monthly basis under their own branding under an OPEX model.
