Aiming to bolster its commitment to VARs, Dell
Inc. released its new PartnerDirect 2.0 program. Based on customer feedback, Dell revamped the
program to include improved services in areas such as data management and desktop
virtualization and better sales tools for customers.
The new rendition of the PartnerDirect program also provides increased rewards for certification and training, including Premier partner rebates, extended deals and other financial incentives.
HP opens more Cloud Centers of Excellence
HP is
expected to open 19 more Cloud Centers of Excellence across the country by the end of
October.
There are already 21 of these facilities giving partners live demonstrations of HP cloud solutions and other products such as HP storage and networking. They also feature cloud discovery workshops, which provide discussion and recommendations for partners assisting customers that are exploring the possibility of a cloud-based environment.
